DESCRIPTION:Instructor:  Karen Mintz\, IT Specialist with CCRI Inc. \n“Going Outside” is not just about what is out there but what you do when you are out there! It is in the news almost weekly; America’s children are not getting enough exercise. This training will help participants understand the benefits of taking infants/toddlers outside daily and provide suggestions on how to create spaces for them outside that support all areas of learning and introduce them to the natural environment. Finally\, participants will be given new suggestions/ideas on what activities can be included in outdoor spaces. \n(2.0 DCDEE contact hours/$7.00)
