It is in the news almost weekly; America’s children are not getting enough exercise. This training will help participants understand the benefits of taking infants/toddlers outside daily and provide suggestions on how to create spaces for them outside that support all areas of learning and introduce them to the natural environment. SUMMARY:Fire Prevention Training
DESCRIPTION:Instructor:  Daniel M. Barnham\, Stanly County Fire Marshall; SC Emergency Med. Svcs. \nStanly County Fire Marshal’s Office\, in coordination with Albemarle Fire Marshal’s Office\, is pleased to present a training in the area of Fire Prevention Training to satisfy the NC Fire Code requirements for employee training. The 4 basic required areas will be covered: Fire Prevention; Evacuation; Fire Safety and Emergency Lockdown. Additionally\, the Stanly County Emergency Medical Services staff will provide training on medical emergencies. This is first-come\, first-served training whereas the childcare director will need to register all staff for this FREE training that will be held in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room. We are planning on offering this training every spring and fall beginning in 2020.  (2.0 DCDEE contact hours/Free)
